Adults and families experiencing homelessness in the Cheyenne area. During periods of limited capacity (e.g., a stated policy during Cheyenne Frontier Days, July 1-31), COMEA may temporarily restrict new intake to people with a Cheyenne address or ID. Families with minor children applying to the Destination Home program must be Wyoming residents (non-resident families are limited to 14 days of emergency services).

For emergency shelter, walk in or call (307) 632-3174; emergency shelter check-in is at 5:00 p.m. daily and provides up to 7 days of a bed, meals, shower, and hygiene/clothing items, during which you must meet with a case manager who screens you into COMEA's longer-term Journey Program track (Pre-Journey, Journey 1, Journey 2) if you want to continue past the initial week. Families with children under 18 should ask specifically about the Journey Center's Destination Home program (90-day stay) and should contact a case manager in advance. Dinner (6:00 p.m. daily) is open to any community member, no intake required.

Seton House (Mother Seton Housing) is a self-sufficiency transitional housing program for single-parent families experiencing or facing homelessness, located at 333 East H Street, Casper, WY 82601.
