Wyoming Unemployment Insurance — Filing a Claim

Register for an account on the Wyoming Unemployment Insurance portal (WYUI) at wyui.wyo.gov. After registering, file weekly continued claims online. Each claim week ends on Saturday and must be filed within 14 days of that end date.

Wyoming Unemployment Insurance — Appeals

The state process for appealing a denial or other adverse initial determination on an unemployment insurance claim, with two levels of review.

How to get help

File a written appeal within 28 calendar days of the date the determination notice was mailed. A lower-level hearing, usually by telephone, is held before an administrative hearing officer; a further appeal goes to a three-member Unemployment Insurance Commission. Continue filing weekly claims while the appeal is pending.

Wyoming Fair Employment Practices Act Complaints — DWS Labor Standards

Workplace discrimination complaints for Wyoming employers (age, sex, race, creed, color, disability, national origin, ancestry, pregnancy) are handled by DWS Labor Standards under the Wyoming Fair Employment Practices Act, which has a work-sharing agreement with the federal EEOC.
